Why This Exists

This project started as a way to remember the rides. The good ones. The ones that make you forget about everything else for a few hours. The ones that remind you why you ride in the first place.

Somewhere around mile 50,000, I realized I was forgetting the details. The name of that bar in Montana. The exact turn where the view opened up. The diner with the best pie. So I started writing it down.

By mile 100,000, I had notebooks full of routes, bars, and stories. This site is an attempt to organize all of that. To share the roads worth riding and the places worth stopping.

"The best rides aren't about the destination. They're about the road, the machine, and the moments that happen along the way."

The Philosophy

This isn't a travel blog. It's not about Instagram-worthy moments or sponsored gear. It's about real miles on real roads.

Every ride documented here is one I've actually ridden. Every bar is one I've actually sat in. Every recommendation comes from experience, not research.

The goal is simple: help other riders find the roads worth riding and the places worth stopping. No bullshit. No marketing. Just honest information from someone who's been there.

What Makes a Good Dive

A good dive isn't about craft cocktails or trendy decor. It's about authenticity. It's about walking in and feeling like you've found something real.

The best dives have regulars who've been coming for decades. They have bartenders who remember your drink. They have stories on the walls and history in the floorboards.

They're the kind of places where you can sit at the bar, strike up a conversation with a stranger, and leave with a new friend or a new story. That's what makes them worth documenting.

What's Next

This site is just the beginning. The plan is to keep riding, keep documenting, and keep sharing. More routes. More dives. More stories.

Eventually, this will expand into books, videos, and maybe even guided rides. But for now, it's about building the archive. Creating a resource that actually helps riders find the good stuff.

If you've got a route to share or a dive to recommend, reach out. Always looking for the next great ride.
